About Our Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are applied to the skin to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the production of new ones along with stimulating collagen and elastin. They can be used to treat various skin conditions including...
Fine lines, wrinkles and skin laxity
Uneven pigmentation and melasma
Acne and acne scars
Sundamaged skin, age spots and freckling
We recommend a skin consultation to determine which peel or combination of peels would compliment your skin. For best results skin should be pre and post treated with appropriate skin care.
Biomedic Micropeel
Also known as the lunch time peel, micropeel is a 3 step process that can be very effective in treating both sun damaged/photo-aged skin as well as pigmented and acneic. A micro-thin layer of skin is removed by either dermaplaning or an enzymatic solution, next a solution of AHA's is applied with a finishing of cryotherapy. These peels have little to no downtime with an improvement of skin tone and texture with each subsequent treatment. For best results we recommend a series of 6 treatments.
Micropeel Plus
The micropeel plus is an application of salicylic solution that enables skin cell turnover and is effective in treating acne, sun damage, large pores and light surface scarring. For best results, a series is recommended.
PCA Peels
PCA peels are designed for fine lines and wrinkles, sun-damage, acne and uneven pigmentation or melasma.
Obagi Blue Peel
Obagi Ble Peels is the ultimate of skin peels. It must be complimented with the Obagi NU-Derm skin care program for ideal results. This peel is designed for stimulating collagen and elastin, eliminating fine lines and wrinkles as well as uneven pigmentation and melasma. For best results, you may need additional peels.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a modality that helps to eliminate dead skin cells which in turn improves and refines surface texture. This is achieved by "bombarding" the skin's surface with inert crystals. This procedure is effective in improving skin tone and texture, pigmentation disorders, fine lines and wrinkles as well as some form of skin scarring and collagen stimulation. For best results a series of 4 to 6 treatments are recommended.
